I just finished an internship, and am struggling to make ends meet as a barista at starbucks while I look for a "real" job. I have a mutual fund, but I’m hesitant to pull anything from it- so I’m living like I’m completely poor right now and barely scraping by. Is this stupid? Or am I right to leave the fund alone?

I have 00 that I would like to invest in mutual funds. And every month put in a couple hundred to invest in. Now, I am not very savvy when it comes to financial investment. I read that Fidelity is a very good mutual fund house. They have a couple of Fidelity office around my job. Would it be a big mistake if I go there and talk to one of their rep to help me invest my money?
What should I ask for, look for?

I am interested in Becoming a investment banker. I am wondering if i need a post college school or can i enroll in a four year college and graduate and apply for a job? I want to leave my job and have a small amount of money in an Edward Jones money market account. I want to use this money to invest in my new career. What are the penalties or percentage charged to close my account? Or, am I better off moving the account to something comparable through my bank, if such a thing exists? Thank you!
